“Man’s Best Friend”
Today I press on with work on a granite ‘companion’ piece, a dog resting next to his master. I am re working an existing sculpture and trying to capture the essence of a canine…the trick will be to utilize the existing stone, carving within another sculptor’s confines…no easy task, but I think I can get it. This too puts me in a better understanding breathing art and spirit into stone…worth it.
